First Aid Training & Qualification
The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid.

What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks.

The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education’s EYFS Framework and is ideal for:

Those who have gained a level 2 and/or level 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with EYFS requirements.
​
Registered childminders and assistants who are required to hold a current and full paediatric first aid certificate in order to comply with the EYFS requirements.
​
Anyone who has a non-professional involvement with infants and children, such as parents, grandparents and want to learn key paediatric first aid skills.

The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course is ideal for those who work in settings that require both first aiders and paediatric first aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.

Combining the QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) and the QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) into 3 extended days of classroom learning, this specially designed course enables candidates to gain the skills and knowledge needed to provide both adult and paediatric first aid, whilst minimising the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications.

The QA Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) has been specifically developed to help members of the public learn life-saving skills for use in these extreme situations. Based on the citizenAID phone App and pocket guide, this regulated qualification is designed to teach people how to react safely, prioritise the injured and give first aid to victims in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident.

Whenever there is a shooting, stabbing or bomb explosion, the initial priority is understandably to ensure public safety, which can unfortunately cause delays to the emergency services being able to reach the injured.

Mental Health Awarness & First Aid
Qualsafe Introduction to Mental Health in the Workplace (Level 1 RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification for people who wish to raise their awareness of mental health and improve their mindfulness in work and everyday life.

Raising awareness of poor Mental Health and breaking down stigma in the workplace Promoting good mental health inside and outside of the workplace is essential. It is particularly important as we understand more about how poor mental health can negatively affect our relationships and resilience to overcome challenges at in work and everyday life.

During this course, candidates will develop a greater understanding on the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in recognising and handling mental health issues at work.

Pre-Hospital Emergency Care
The leading qualification for events cover, the Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF), often refried to as FREC 3, covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid, and more! For those with further ambitions.

Over 5 days, you will fulfil the competencies set out in the (Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine) PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D, gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of pre-hospital emergency care situations. A perfect fit for those looking to work or
volunteer as a first responder.

Among the first to arrive at a scene, First Responders typically includes law enforcement officers, firefighters, and those providing medical cover at events, as well as those working in high risk environments including the military, power stations, agriculture and manufacturing.
